HUNTINGDON.	Inq. taken at Upwode, 5 August, 23 Edward III.
	Upwode. A manor called Uphalle (extent given) held of the abbey of Ramsey, now void and in the king’s hand, by knight’s service and by service of ploughing 1a. land yearly and by scutage when it runs. He died on Friday after the Nativity of St. John the Baptist last. John de Deene, his son, aged nine years and more from the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary last, is his heir.

KENT.	Inq. taken at Ospringe, 28 May, 23 Edward III.
	Thrulegh, Bocton Malerbe and Worneshalle. The manors and certain lands in Borstalle and Shamelesford and the advowsons of the churches of Bocton Malerbe and Worneshalle, held by service of three and a half knights’ fees of John de Pulteneye, knight, as of the manor of Ospringe, which manor, together with the fees and advowsons aforesaid, the said John has of the king’s grant. Thrulegh. 15a. land held in gavelkind of the abbot of Faversham by service of 2s. 6d. He died on 18 May, 23 Edward III. His daughters, Benedicta aged 5 years, Margaret aged 4 years, Martha aged 2 years, and Joan aged one year and more, are his heirs.

KENT.	Inq. taken at Canterbury, Monday after St. Peter’s Chains, 23 Edward III.
	Thrulegh &c. The manors &c. To the same effect as above, held as above, doing suit at the court of Ospringe every three weeks and paying for the ward of the castle of Dover 20s. every 20 weeks. Thrulegh. 15a. land held as above. Date of death as above. He had four daughters and heirs, viz. Benedicta aged 5 years, Margaret aged 4 years, and Martha and Joan, who are dead.

BUCKINGHAM.	Inq. taken at Aylesbury on Wednesday after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, 23 Edward III.
	Chalfhunte St. Giles. The manor (extent given) held of the king in chief, as part of the barony of Wolverton, by service of a knight’s fee. He died on 13 July, 23 Edward III. Peter le Blount gave the aforesaid manor to John de Wolverton, father of the said John, for his life, with successive remainders to John his son and Joan his wife and the heirs of their bodies, and to the right heirs of the said John son of John. The said John son of John begat of the said Joan, Joan, Sarah, Cecily and Constance; Joan and Constance are of full age; Sarah is dead and Adam her son, aged 11 years, is her heir; Cecily is dead and Theobald her son, aged five years, is her heir.
BUCKINGHAM.	Inq. taken at Stonystratford, Friday [after?] the Nativity of the Blessed Mary, 23 Edward III.
	Wolverton. The manor (extent given), except that he granted the rent &c. of free tenants and bondmen with a rent of 60s. from the manor, to Adam de Cortenhale and Margery his wife by indenture dated Monday before St. Dunstan, 21 Edward III, to hold to them and the heirs of the said Adam for twenty years; and he held the manor of the king in chief by service of two knights’ fees and a half and rendering 25s. yearly for the keeping of the castle of Northampton. The manor is charged with 33s. 4d. yearly to Nicholas Dardern for his life by the deed of John de Wolverton, knight, father of the said John. He died as above. Ralph his son, aged 2 1/2 years and more, is his heir. John de Wolverton, the father, by a fine gave the said manor, to Bartholomew Pecche, who gave it to the said John de Wolverton the elder for life, with remainders to John the younger and Joan his wife and the heirs of their bodies, and the right heirs of John the elder. John, the father, died in his son’s lifetime, and so likewise did the said Joan, after whose death the said John son of John took to wife Joan, sometime the wife of Andrew de Sancta Lucia, and she survives. John the son begat of Joan, his first wife, Joan &c. as above, and so the aforesaid Joan, Constance, Adam and Theobald are heirs of the said John and Joan of the said manor by the form of the gift aforesaid.

NORTHAMPTON.	Inq. taken at Wykedyve, 10 September, 23 Edward III.
	Wykhamond. The manor held jointly by John de Wolverton the younger and Joan his wife, who survives, of the king in chief by knight’s service, of the gift of John de Wolverton the elder, to them and the heirs male of their bodies, with remainder to the said John the elder and his heirs. John the younger died on 13 July last. Ralph his son, aged two years and more, is his heir.

ESSEX.	Inq. taken at Bumstede Helyoun, Monday after St. Denis, 23 Edward III.
	Bumstede Helyoun. A messuage, 63a. arable, 5a. meadow, 12a. pasture, a ruined windmill, 8a. wood and 13s. rent, held of the king in chief by service of half a knight’s fee; 4a. land held of the earl of Oxford by service of 6d.; and 3a. land held of the prior of Hatfeld by service of 4d. He died on Saturday after St. Dunstan last. Henry his son, aged three years on the Nativity of St. John the Baptist last, is his heir.

175.	SIBYL DE CORNUBIA or DE CORNEWAILLE.

NORTHAMPTON.	Inq. taken at Daventre, 10 June, 23 Edward III.
	She held nothing of the king in chief in the county on the day she died, because on Monday after SS. Tiburtius and Valerian, 21 Edward III, she gave by deed the manor of Throp by Daventre (extent given) and a moiety of the manor of Norton and two messuages and two virgates of land there to John de Botryngham, her brother, and John de Vyelston, in survivorship, to hold of her and her heirs by service of a pair of gloves, price 1d., and doing to the chief lords the services due; after which deed she never took any estate from the said John and John, nor was ever afterwards seised. The manor of Throp is held of Sir John de Molynes in chief as of the fee of Chokes; and the moiety of the capital messuage of the manor of Norton and two messuages and two virgates of land are held of Sir Thomas de Bello Campo, earl of Warwick. She died on Saturday after the Ascension last. Geoffrey de Cornwaille, agedx 13 years, in the wardship of the said earl, is her heir.

BUCKINGHAM.	Inq. taken at Evere, the day of St. Thomas the Apostle, 23 Edward III.
	Evere. A messuage, 120a. land, 29a. meadow, 2a. pasture and 63s. rent of free tenants, held for life, of the feoffment of Geoffrey de Cornewaill, to Richard de Cornewaill and the said Sibyl and the heirs of the said Richard, now deceased; which Richard held the said lands &c. of Ralph de Nevill, as of his manor of Evere, by homage and fealty and service of 12s. yearly and a moiety of a knight’s fee; a moiety of a virgate of land held in the same form by the same feoffment, of John atte Forde, by fealty and service of 6s. 9d. She died on Friday after St. Dunstan last. Geoffrey, son of the said Richard and Sibyl, aged 14 years, is her heir. Letter of attorney of Thomas Frembaud, escheator in co. Buckingham, appointing Robert de Hadham, escheator of the king’s chamber, his deputy to make execution of a writ of diem clausit extremum directed to him touching the death of Sibyl de Cornewaill; London, Wednesday the feast of St. Martin, 23 Edward III.

176.	WILLIAM FOURNEUX or DE FOURNEUX.
	Writ, 23 November, 23 Edward III.
NOTTINGHAM.	Inq. taken at Retford, Saturday after the Circumcision, 23 Edward III.
	(Unspecified.) 10l. rent held of the king in chief in socage by fealty and by service of rendering 6d. yearly at the exchequer by the hands of the sheriff of Nottingham. Thomas le Latimer, son of Sibyl le Latimer, sister and one of the heirs of the said William, is 26 years of age. Joan, sister of the said Sibyl, the other heir, married to Henry son of Henry, who still survives, outlived the said William by one month: the said Henry and Joan entered upon a moiety of the said rent, as the pourparty of Joan, on Tuesday after the Exaltation of the Cross last; they had issue Henry, who survives, son and heir of the said Joan, aged ten years, and not married. The said Joan died seised of the said moiety, so the right accrued to Henry [her husband] by the courtesy of England. They (fn. 1) are kinsmen and heirs of the said William. He held no other lands &c. of the king in chief. He died on Monday before St. Bartholomew last.

	Carleton in Lyndrik. 10l. rent held immediately of the king in socage by fealty and by service of rendering 6d. yearly at the exchequer by the hands of the sheriff. Thomas le Latimer, knight, son of Sibyl le Latimer, sister of the said William, aged 26 years; and Joan, sister of the said Sibyl, married to Henry son of Henry, who survives, are kinsfolk and heirs of the said William. The said Joan survived the said William by one month and died on Tuesday after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross last. From the said Henry and Joan issued one Henry, who still survives, and is son and heir of the said Joan, aged 10 years, and not married. And so the right accrued to the said Henry son of Henry of holding the moiety of the said rent by the courtesy of England. He held no other lands &c. of the king. He died on Friday before St. Bartholomew last.

	Carleton in Lyndrik. 10l. rent &c. to the same effect as in the preceding inquisition, except that Joan is stated to have died on Monday after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross last. These three inquisitions, though taken on the same day, are not identical; the names of ten jurors are the same in all three, the other two names vary.

GLOUCESTER.	Inq. taken at Gloucester on Friday after the Nativity of the Blessed Mary, 23 Edward III.
	Bendham. A messuage and a carucate of land (extent given) held of Thomas de Berkeleye, lord of Brumesfeld, by serjeanty of carrying a horn in the park of Brumesfeld between the feasts of the Assumption and the Nativity of the Blessed Mary when the lord wishes to hunt there. He held no other tenements in the bailiwick. He died on Saturday the feast of St. James, 23 Edward III. Fulk his son, aged 7 years, is his heir.

BERKS.	Inq. made at Abyndon, 21 September, 23 Edward III.
	Wanettyng. The hundred held of the king in chief, rendering yearly to him 100s. of hidage. The said hundred used to be worth yearly, beyond the said hidage, 20s., but now, because of this pestilence, 13s. 4d. and not more. Wanettyng. Two parts of the manor (extent given) held of the earl of Pembroke by service of a knight’s fee. He held no other lands &c. in the county. He died on 25 July last. Heir as above, aged 7 years and more. Mabel Fitz Waryn holds the third part of the said manor for her life, of the inheritance of the said Fulk.

SALOP AND THE ADJACENT MARCH OF WALES.	Inq. made at Shrewsbury, Friday after the feast of St. Michael, 23 Edward III.
	Whitynton. The manor (extent given), including a castle (castellum) worth nothing after deductions because it needs 40s. yearly for repairs, two water-mills worth now only 20s. yearly because the tenants are dead in the present pestilence, two ponds with fishery, a park, a chace and rents &c. greatly diminished on account of the pestilence, held of the king in chief by service of a knight’s fee. He died on Wednesday before the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary last. Fulk his son, aged nine years on the feast of St. James last, is his heir.

LEICESTER.	Inq. taken at Medburne, 22 November, 23 Edward III.
	Medburne. 8s. rent and a quarter of a view of frankpledge held of the king in chief by service of an eighth part of a thirtieth part of a knight’s fee. He held no other lands &c. in the county. He died on 28 June last. Hugh Prilly, his son, aged four years and more at the feast of St. Peter’s Chains last, is his heir.

NORTHAMPTON.	Inq. Tuesday the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Mary. 23 Edward III.
	Little Ocle. The manor (extent given), including a wood in the forest of Rokyngham containing 10a., whence he took no profit except by delivery of the steward of the king’s forest, viz. three oaks yearly worth 3s., and he to find a ‘wodeward’ to keep the said wood, who had yearly 2qrs. 1bus. of wheat and 2qrs. 1bus. of peas for his allowance and half a mark for his stipend, and 60a. of demesne of Great Ocle and 1/2a. meadow, held of the king in chief by service of suit at the court of the hundred of Corby every three weeks. Carleton. A fourth part of a manor (extent given) with the advowson of the church held of Geoffrey de Lucy in chief, service not specified. Great Newton by Geytyngton. 2s. yearly rent. He died on Monday after SS. Peter and Paul, 23 Edward III. Heir as above, aged four years.

179.	ALICE, LATE THE WIFE OF ROBERT PEVEREL.

NORTHAMPTON.	Inq. taken at Northampton, 26 June, 23 Edward III.
	Assheby David. The manor (extent given), including 120a. arable worth 40s. and no more for want of servants because of the common pestilence and whereas there used to be twenty-four bondmen now only six survive, held for her life of the heir of Lawrence de Hastyngges, late earl of Pembroke, a minor in the king’s wardship, by knight’s service. All the lands &c. in Chaddiston by Assheby were pertaining to the said manor on the day the said Alice died, and came to the hands of John del Isle immediately after her death, by what right the jurors know not. She died on Wednesday after the Close of Easter last. John Peverel, aged 19 years at Whitsuntide last, is her heir.

NORTHAMPTON.	Inq. taken at Assheby Davyd, 29 November, 23 Edward III.
	Assheby Davyd. He held no lands &c. in the county on the day he died because, long before his death, he demised to Sir John de Insula of Rougemont (de Rubeo Monte), knight, Hugh de Bray and others unknown, the manor of Assheby Davyd and all other his lands &c. in the county, without any reserve. He died on 15 November last. Heir not known, because no one of the said John’s blood was born in the county, so far as the jurors can enquire.
	Writ touching the lands &c. of the said John, who died a minor in the king’s wardship, 24 November, 23 Edward III.
NORTHAMPTON.	Inq. taken at Assheby, 17 April, 24 Edward III.
	Assheby Davy. Thomas de Verdoun and Alice his wife held the manor of Assheby Davy (extent given) for the life of the said Alice, of the inheritance of the said John son of Edmund; Alice died, and after her death the manor was seized into the king’s hand by reason of the minority of the said John, because it was held of the heir of Lawrence de Hastings, a minor in the king’s wardship, as of the manor of Jerdele, by knight’s service. For this cause the manor of Assheby Davy remained in the king’s hand until the said John made a fine with the king’s treasurer for his lands, to hold until his lawful age. The said John when of full age, viz. 21 years, demised (dimisit se de) the said manor and all his other lands &c. in the county to John de Insula of Rougemont (de Rubeo Monte), Hugh de Bray and William de la Dale. Chadeston. 10l. land and rent pertaining to the manor of Assheby were held by the said Alice for life of the said John’s inheritance, of Sir John de Insula, as of the earldom of Aumale, by knight’s service. Asshele. A little manor (manerettum) was held by the said John of Ralph Bassett of Weldon by knight’s service on the day he demised to the said John de Insula &c. Cotes by Rokyngham. 40a. land and 4a. meadow were held by Thomas de Verdoun and Alice his wife for the life of the said Alice, of the inheritance of the said John Peverel, of the said manor of Rokyngham in free socage. He held no other lands &c. of the king. He died on 15 November last. Margaret his sister, the wife of William de la Pole, knight, is his heir. And the said William released to the said John de Insula all his right in the manor of Assheby and all his other lands &c. in the county.
	Writ, 24 November, 23 Edward III.
LINCOLN.	Inq. taken at Scalby, Sunday after St. Hilary, 23 Edward III.
	Southhall. A messuage and three carucates of land containing 200a., and free tenants rendering 6s. 8d. yearly, came to the king’s hands by reason of the minority of John son and heir of Edmund Peverell, a minor in the king’s wardship; which messuage is called the manor of ‘le (del) Southhall’ and is held of the heirs of John Paynell of Rasen as a parcel of his barony, and they hold of the king in chief by service of half a knight’s fee. And because at the time of the death of the said Edmund the said heirs were in the king’s wardship the said messuage and land came to the king’s hand. Scalby. A messuage and 60a. land held of the lord of Moubray by knight’s service and the said lord holds them of the king in chief. He died on Monday before St. Martin in the Winter last. Margaret his sister, aged 18 years, is his heir, and was married in his lifetime to William de la Pole the younger.

	Writ, 14 July, 23 Edward III.
BEDFORD.	Inq. taken at Wilden, Monday after St. James, 23 Edward III.
	Wylden or Wilden. The manor held of the king in chief as of the honour of Peverel by service of a knight’s fee, by a fine levied between John de Pabenham, father of the said John, and Joan his wife, plaintiffs, and Master Henry de Clyf, deforciant, to hold to the said John and Joan for their lives, with successive remainders to their sons John, James and Edmund and the heirs of their bodies respectively and to the right heirs of the said John de Pabenham the younger. Carlton. A messuage and a carucate of land held of the king in chief by service of a quarter of a knight’s fee. He held no more lands &c. in the county. He died on 12 June last. The aforesaid James his brother, aged 31 years, is his heir.

LINCOLN.	Inq. taken at Gedeneye, Tuesday after St. Matthew, 23 Edward III.
	Gedeneye, Holbech and Quappelad. 24a. land, 4a. meadow, 8a. pasture, 6a. salt pasture, a fishery, 6l. yearly rent and perquisities of court held of the king in chief by service of a ninth part of a third part of a knight’s fee as of the honour of Aumale (Aumarell). He died on 20 June last. Ralph, son of Ralph de Shelton, knight, his kinsman, aged two years, is his heir.

NORFOLK.	Inq. taken at Narrynges, 18 September, 23 Edward III.
	Great Narrynge. The manor (extent given), including 4l. rent in Narrynges, Thirsford, Berneye, Tatursete [or Tatirsete] and Hindring(ham), held of John Bardolf as of the manor of Cantillee, in socage, by service of 20s. yearly. Thirsford. A messuage and 14a. arable held of John Bardolf as parcel of the manor of Narrynges. Date of death and heir as above.
	Writ of plenius certiorari, because the king understands that the said Hugh held on the day he died the manor of Snoryng, of which there is no mention in the inquisition, 10 November, 23 Edward III.
NORFOLK.	Inq. taken at Walsingham, 11 January, 23 Edward III.
	Great Narringes. The manor (extent given as above) which is called Snoringg held of John Bardolf as of the manor of Cantillehe in free socage by service of 20s. yearly. The manor called Narringes and that called Snoringg are one and the same. Date of death as above. Heir as above, aged two years and more, to whom the said manor, with the tenements in Thirsford, ought to remain.

	Shenle. The manor, with the advowson of the church, held for life, of the gift of John de Wynewyk, John de Ekeleshale, William de Newenham and John de Tilteye, clerks, with remainder to John de Stratford, late archbishop of Canterbury, and to Margaret the wife of the said John de Pulteneye, and William son of the said John and Margaret and the heirs of his body, to hold, together with the manor of Ditton Camoys, co. Cambridge, of the king in chief by service of a pair of gilt spurs yearly. He held no other lands &c. in the county. He died on Monday the morrow of Holy Trinity last. William his son, aged eight years and more from the feast of SS. Simon and Jude last, is his heir.

	Napton. A messuage and a virgate of land held of Adam de Napton by service of 2s. yearly. He held no other lands &c. in the county. Date of death and heir, William de Pulteneye, as above.
LEICESTER.	Inq. taken at Ministerton, 20 July, 23 Edward III.
	Dadelyngton. A messuage and two virgates of land held of Roger la Warde by service of 3s. yearly. Shathewell. A rood of land and the advowson of the church held of Ralph de Ferrariis by fealty only. He held no other lands &c. in demesne as of fee in the county. Pulteney and Ministerton. The manors held for life of the gift of John de Tilteye, clerk, by fine in the king’s court, viz. the manor of Pulteney of William Broun by service of a quarter of a knight’s fee and the manor of Ministerton of Robert de Holand by service of a moiety of a knight’s fee; with remainder to Margaret the wife of the said John de Pulteneye and William their son and the heirs of his body; which Margaret and William survive. Date of death and heir as above.

Hertford, to hold together with that manor of the king in chief as abovesaid. Chevele. The manor held for life of the grant of John de Tylteye and John Skynner of London, with remainder to John de Stratford, late archbishop of Canterbury, and Margaret the wife of the said John de Pulteneye for their lives; which manor is held of John de Segrave, knight, and Margaret his wife by service of a knight’s fee. He held no other lands &c. in the county in his demesne as of fee. Swafham Prior’s. The manor held at farm for a term of years of Humphrey de Bohoun, earl of Hereford and Essex, rendering yearly to the said earl for that manor and other manors in divers counties 80l.; and the said earl has the said manor for life of the grant of the said John de Pulteneye, with reversion to the said John and his heirs. 	A rent of 100 marks which the king granted to him and the heirs male of his body by his charter at the time when the said John, by the king’s command, took the order of knighthood, that he might more becomingly support himself therein, to be received yearly from the king and his heirs, viz. 50l. from the farm of Queenhithe in the city and 25 marks from the farm of the city by the hands of the sheriffs, by what services the jurors know not; and he had certain burgages in the city, all of which he bequeathed in his lifetime in his testament. 	Popeler in Stebbenheth. The manor held for life of the gift of John de Tylteygh and John le Skynnere, with remainder to John de Stretford, late archbishop of Canterbury, now deceased, and Margaret the wife of the said John de Pulteney for their lives by fine levied in the octave of St. Michael, 14 Edward III. The said manor is held of the bishop of London as of the right of the church of St. Paul, London, by fealty and service of 36s. yearly. Estsmethefeld in the parish of Whitechapele, in the suburb of London. Two mills and ten marks rent were held by Humphrey de Boughn, earl of Hereford and Essex, for his life on the day the said John de Pulteney died, of the grant of the said John. 	Chilton Cauntelo. The said lands &c. are charged with a yearly rent of 39s. 6d. to Thomasya the wife of Thomas Sperman for her life, by the grant of Richard le Venour and Alice his wife. The manor (extent given) held of the abbot of Abyndon by service of 20s. yearly. He held no other lands &c. in the county. He died on 16 May last. 	Berton Sacy. A moiety of the manor (extent given) held for life of the king in chief by service of half a knight’s fee by virtue of a fine to this effect:—King Edward II in the 19th year of his reign, for a fine of 100s., granted leave to the said Thomas to enfeoff of the said moiety William de Warbelton and Richard de Coudray, who granted the same to the said Thomas for life, with remainder to Fulk de Coudray and Joan his wife and the heirs of their bodies. The said Thomas held the moiety for his life and died on Friday in Easter week, 23 Edward III, and the said Fulk and Joan ought to hold the same by the said feoffment. Shirburne Coudray. The manor (extent given) held of the heirs of Edmund de Sancto Johanne by service of a fifth part of a knight’s fee. He held no other lands &c. in the county. Fulk de Coudray, knight, his kinsman, aged 26 years and more, is his heir.

	Elsyng and Weshenham. The manors (extent given) held for life by fine in the king’s court, with remainder to John her son and Hugh, brother of the said John, and his heirs, of Henry earl of Lancaster by service of a knight’s fee. She died on 8 August last. John her son, of full age, is her heir.

	Westhaytfeld. A messuage, 3 tofts, 2 closes, 9 bovates of land, and a windmill in demesne and a messuage, a croft and 15 bovates of land in service, whereof the abbot &c. of Meaux hold eight bovates in frank almoin and divers free tenants hold the residue by foreign service; all held of the king in chief as of the honour of Aumale, now in the king’s hand, by service of a sixteenth part of a knight’s fee, rendering to the king for the ward of the castle of Skipse 12d. yearly and for sheriff’s aid 8 1/2d. yearly, and doing suit at the wapentake of Holdernesse every three weeks. Skypseburgh. A toft held in service of the king in chief, as of the aforesaid honour, by the aforesaid services; which was held of the aforesaid Peter by service of 12d. yearly. He died on Friday, 30 October last. Robert Tillioll, his son, aged 22 years and more, is his heir.

SOMERSET.	Inq. taken at Yevele, Saturday the feast of St. Mark. 23 Edward III.
	Yevele. 7a. land called ‘la Nuwelonde,’ held of Elizabeth de Burgo as of the honour of Gloucester by knight’s service. He held no other lands &c. in the county because, though he lately held the manor of Hyneford of the aforesaid Elizabeth, as of the aforesaid honour, by knight’s service, he enfeoffed thereof on Thursday after St. Luke, 22 Edward III, Sir John le Archer, rector of the church of Wychamptoun, and Martin Bolt, chaplain; which John Archer afterwards released his estate therein to the said Martin, who afterwards on Thursday after the Conversion of St. Paul, 23 Edward III, granted the manor to Wentliana, late the wife of the deceased, for her life, with remainder to the right heirs of the deceased. He died on Thursday the feast of St. Vincent last. Henry his son, aged one year on the feast of the Circumcision last, is his heir.
DORSET.	Inq. taken at Blaneford on Thursday, 16 April, 23 Edward III.
	Estmordon. Two parts of the manor (extent given) held of the king by service of rendering 8s. yearly at the Exchequer by the hands of the sheriff of Dorset; the value is diminished at present because all the tenants are dead through the pestilence. Litchet Mautravers. The manor held of the lady de Burgo as of the honour of the earl of Gloucester by knight’s service. Wynterborne St. Martin. A toft and 60a. land, tenure and service not known. He held no other lands &c. in the county because, though he lately held the manor of Wichampton of the lady de Burgo, as of the honour of Gloucester, by knight’s service and the manor of Wolcombe of the same lady by knight’s service, he enfeoffed thereof on Thursday after St. Luke, 22 Edward III, Sir John le Archer &c. as in the Somerset inquisition.
