Angirton, Hertbourn, Dodyngton, Nesbyt, Hedun, Stiford, Spiriden, Netton, Rydding, Merchenley, Bromhale, Shelford, Thornburgk, Sotle, Blackhedreley, Birkynside, Waskreley and Neubiggyng. A moiety of a fourth part of the manors, held for life only of the inheritance of John de Yeland, by virtue of a fine levied in the king’s court whereby after the said Walter’s decease the same ought to remain to Ralph son of William and his heirs, of the king in chief by homage, scutage and fealty, and by service of an eighth part of 2 knights’ fees. The said Walter did fealty in the king’s court to the said Ralph for the said tenements.

The said Ellen was enfeoffed jointly with the said Walter of a moiety of the manor, except 4 messuages, 100a. land, 2a. meadow, and 200a. wood, which is of a moiety of the barony of Muscamp, by the enfeoffment of the said Walter to Alan le Chapelayn of Belford, who re-enfeoffed the said Walter and Ellen by fine levied in the king’s court, to hold to them and the heirs of their bodies, with remainder to the right heirs of the said Walter, of the king by the services due.

A moiety of the barony of Muscamp (Musco Campo), viz.—a moiety of the manors of Wollore and Louwyk, held of the king in chief by service of 2 knights’ fees.
Beleford and Yesyngton. A moiety of the manors held of the same moiety of the said barony, of which moiety of the manors Alice (sic) late the wife of the said Walter is tenant as jointly enfeoffed, for her part of the service aforesaid.
Chevelyngham. The manor held of the barony of Alnewyk by service of 2 knights’ fees.

A fourth part of the barony of Bollebek, viz.—a fourth part of the manors of Stiford, Schotley, Heddon on the Wall (super Murum), Angreton and Dodyngton, held by the courtesy of England of the inheritance of Alice sometime his wife, daughter and one of the heirs of Hugh de Bollebek, of the king in chief by service of a fourth part of 3 knights’ fees.
Writ of scire facias to the escheator to warn Ralph son of William, to whom the king has commanded a moiety of a fourth part of the manors of Angirton, &c., as above, to be delivered, by virtue of a fine levied in the king’s court between the said Ralph and John de Yeland, to come before the king and council in Parliament on Monday after St. Matthew next, to receive what the court shall adjudge upon the claim of John de Lancastre, kinsman and heir of Alice, late the wife of the said Walter, asserting that the said Walter held the same moiety by the courtesy of England, of the inheritance of the said Alice, and that the said moiety ought to remain to him, notwithstanding the said fine, and also the fourth part of the barony of Bollebek, which the said Walter similarly held of the same inheritance, 4 Aug. 7 Edw. II.
Writ de melius inquirendo because no mention is made in the above inquisition who is the next heir of the said Alice of the fourth part of the barony of Ballobek, 5 Aug. 7 Edw. II.
