	Writ 17 Oct., 7 Hen. VII; inq. 22 Oct., 8 Hen. VII.
	Robert Knawdy and William Wryght, clks., being seised of the under-mentioned manor and lands in fee simple, enfeoffed him and Amice his wife, who survives, thereof, for the term of their lives in survivorship, without impeachment of waste; and the said Henry and Amice were seised thereof accordingly in their demesne as of frank tenement, with reversion to Henry Thornehill, in tail male, with other reversions over. He died 12 Aug., 6 Hen. VII. Isabel wife of Robert Pygot, aged 50, Agnes wife of John Vyell, aged 22, two of his daughters, and William Thornehill, aged 25 and more, the son of Julian Thornehill, his other daughter, are his next heirs.
BERKS.	A moiety of the manor called ‘Busshoppys’ in Pusey, worth 4l., held of the Abbot of Abendon, service unknown. A messuage in Pusey called ‘Combers,’ worth 30s., held of the most illustrious lord, Prince Arthur, the King’s eldest son, now Prince of Wales, as of the honor of Walyngford, by service of 2s., and suit of view of frank (pledge) of the lordship of Heynton. A tenement in Pusey, called ‘Millehous,’ annexed to the said messuage, and 5 1/2 virgates of land in the common field of Pusey, called ‘Erlich lond,’ worth 40s., held of the Lord Bouchier, lord of Wantyng, by service of 11d., and suit of view of frank (pledge) of the hundred of Moreston. Five tenements and two virgates of land in West Hanney, worth 33s. 4d., held of the Warden of the New College of St. Mary in Oxford, by service of 22(s.), and suit of view of frank (pledge) belonging to the said Warden.

802	RICHARD BURDETT.
	Writ wanting; inq. 14 Sept., 8 Hen. VII.
	By deed dated 1 Oct., 3 Hen. VII, John Archer and Thomas Mountford, esqs., gave the under-mentioned manors to him, and Joice his wife, who survives, and the heirs of his body. He died Saturday after St. George the Martyr, 7 Hen. VII. Thomas Burdett, aged 14 and more, is his son and heir.
WORC.	Manor of Belne, worth 6 marks, held of the Duke of Buckingham, service unknown. Manor of Elmebrug, worth 26s. 8d., held of the Baron of Carue, by fealty only. Manor of Hablenche, worth 5 marks, held of the Baron of Elmeley, by service of 1/20 of a knight’s fee.

803	JOHN SAMUELL.
	Writ de Amotus 14 Oct., 6 Hen. VII; inq. 29 Oct., 8 Hen. VII.
	John Danvers, William Ardern, John Waver, John Bryce, chaplain, and John Samuell, son of James Samuell, gave the under-mentioned messuages and land in Cotesford, which they had of the gift and feoffment of the said James, to Roger Poure, Robert Ardern, and Thomas Goldewell, their heirs and assigns. Roger Poure, the surviving feoffee, gave the premises to John Samuell, named in the writ, and Joan then his wife, to hold to them and his heirs. The said John Samuell, being seised thereof accordingly in fee, gave the said messuages and land, inter alia, by the name of all his lands and tenements in Furyngford, Cotesford, Stoke Lyle, and Dadyngton, to Francis, Lord Lovell, Lionel Wydevyle, clk., Walter Mauntell, knt., Humphrey Forster, esq., Henry Doget, and William Samuell, now deceased, and William Stonor, knt., John More, esq., and Roger Samuell, who survive, and the heirs of the said Roger and William Samuell, to the use of his last will. He died 31 May, 21 Edw. IV. John Samuell, aged 40 and more, is his son and heir.

804	HENRY ROUS, of Denyngton, esq.
	Writ 9 Oct., inq. on Saturday the eve of the Apostles St. Simon and St. Jude, 8 Hen. VII.
	Thomas Hopken, Richard Alred, John Shotesham, John Keche, John Norfolk, clk., John Dowsyng, William Alred, and Richard Southwell, esq., were seised of the under-mentioned manors of Rouses, Osbernes, and Rowuntons, divers tenements called ‘Tettons,’ ‘Heywardes,’ ‘Pulhams,’ ‘Haywardesharche,’ ‘Sketys,’ and ‘Foxis,’ 40a. pasture called ‘Denyngton Cloos,’ 2a. land, 24a. pasture, and 5a. meadow called ‘le Haye,’ and 10a. land and 2a. meadow called ‘Fagges,’ all in Denyngton, in fee, to the use of the said Henry, and the performance of his last will. By his last will the said Henry directed that in the first place his debts should be paid out of the issues and profits of the premises, and that William his son should then have the manor of Rouses, and all the said tenements lands, pastures, and meadows (the tenement called ‘Sketys,’ and lands, &c., called ‘le Haye’ and ‘Fagges’ only excepted) in tail male, with remainder to Edmund Rous his other son in tail male, with remainder to Thomas, John, and Edward, Rous, his brothers successively in tail male, with remainder to Humphrey Rous in tail male, with remainder to the right heirs of Reginald Rous his father; he further directed that the said manor of Rowunton, and the above excepted tenements should be sold by his two executors, with refusal to his son William; also he willed, that, after his debts were paid, his wife Agnes, who survives, should have the said manor of Osbornes for the term of her life, on condition, however, that the said Edmund Rouse should have a sufficient and lawful estate of, or in, the under-mentioned tenement called ‘Thorppys’ in Dunwiche and Westleton, and other his lands there, in tail male, with remainder to the said William, Thomas, John, Edward, and Humphrey, and the heirs of Reginald Rous, as in the case of the manor of Rouses; with remainder as to the said manor of Osbornes after the death of the said Agnes, to the said William and Edmund successively in tail male, with remainder for sale by his executors. Richard Alred, clk., being seised of the under-mentioned tenement and land in Denyngton, formerly Reginald Rous,’ called ‘Hobertes,’ in fee, gave it to the said Henry and Agnes, and their issue male, with remainder as the manor of Rouses is limited. Robert Cheke and John Chapman being seised of the said tenement called ‘Thorppys’ in Dunwiche and Westleton, and of lands and tenements there late belonging to the said Henry and formerly to the said Reginald, gave them to the said Henry and Agnes, with remainders over as in the case of ‘Hobertes tenement.’ He died on the day of St. Matthew the Apostle last, seised of divers tenements called ‘Kechys,’ ‘Sexteynes,’ ‘Stormes,’ and ‘Baldryes’ in Denyngton, in fee. William Rous, aged 21 and more, is his son and heir.

	Writ 9 Oct., inq. Monday after St. Simon and St. Jude the Apostles, 8 Hen. VII.
	John Dowsyng, clk., and Alexander Tulke were seised of the under-mentioned manor and lands in fee, to the use of the said Henry, who with their assent received the rents thereof, and by his last will gave the premises to William Rows his son in tail, with remainder to the heirs of the body of Reginald Rows, esq., his father, with remainder to the right heirs of the said Reginald. Death and heir as in No. 804.
NORF.	Manor of Royses, a tenement called ‘Sorwellys,’ and an enclosure called ‘Hulynes yerde’ in North Walsham and Bradfeld, worth 5l., held of William Walshe by fealty and 4d. rent yearly, for all service.

	Writ 24 May, 7 Hen. VII; inq. Saturday the eve of St. Simon and St. Jude the Apostles, 8 Hen. VII.
	He died on St. Valentine’s day last, seised of the under-mentioned manor and lands in fee. Elizabeth wife of Roger Rookwode, esq., aged 30 and more, his daughter, and Edmund Poley, aged 6 and more, his cousin, viz. son of Henry Poley, son of Margery Poley, late wife of Simon Poley deceased, his other daughter, are his next heirs.
SUFF.	Manor of Badley Halle, in Badley, Needham, and Combys, worth 20 marks, held of Cicely, Duchess of York, as of the honor of Clare, by service of 1/2 of a knight’s fee. Forty acres of land and 40a. pasture in Badley, worth 5 marks, held of the said Duchess, as of the said honor, by fealty and 4d. yearly, for all service.

807	ALEXANDER CAREWE.
	Writ 8 Oct., inq. 5 Nov., 8 Hen. VII.
	He died 20 Sept. last, seised of the under-mentioned manor and rent in fee. John Carrewe, aged 22 and more, is his son and heir.
DEVON.	Manor of Shogbrok, worth 8 marks, held of the heirs of one Joan Sampford, in free socage. A rent of 18s. issuing from certain lands and tenements in Okeford, held of none.

808	JOAN UPTON.
	Writ 11 Oct., inq. 6 Nov., 8 Hen. VII.
	Walter Colbroke her grandfather being seised of the under-mentioned messuages and lands in fee, had issue two daughters, Alice, and Joan, mother of the said Joan Upton, and being so seised, he gave the land in Killerton, Monculme, and Beare, to one Walter Courteney, knt., who survives, his heirs and assigns. Afterwards the said Alice married the said Walter Courtenay, and the said Joan married one William Upton, by whom she had issue the said Joan Upton, and died. And afterwards the said Walter Colbroke died, seised of the residue of the said messuages and lands in fee, which thereupon descended to the said Alice and Joan, viz. to the said Alice as his daughter and one of his heirs, and to the said Joan as his cousin and other heir, viz. daughter of Joan his other daughter, and they entered on and were seised of the said residue accordingly in fee. And the said Joan Upton afterwards died without issue, whereby her purparty of the premises descended to the said Alice, as sole surviving daughter and heir of the said Walter Colbroke. She died 21 Sept. last. The said Alice, daughter of the said Walter Colbroke, is next heir both of the said Walter, and of her, the said Joan Upton, and is aged 30 and more.
DEVON.	A messuage, 100a. arable, 100a. pasture, 10a. meadow, and 100a. gorse and heather in Colbroke in the parish of Colompton, worth 100s., held of the Abbot of St. Mary, Ford, by service of 1/6 of a knight’s fee Sixty acres of pasture in Bagmore in the parish of Bradenynche, worth 20s., held of the Prince, as of the honor of Bradenynche, in free socage. A messuage, 100a. land, 60a. pasture, 6a. meadow, 4a. wood, and 20a. gorse and heather in Dorwyke in the parish of Silferton, worth 6 marks, held of John Wadham, knt., as of the manor of Sylferton, by a rent of 6d. only, in free socage. A messuage, 40a. arable, 30a. pasture, 4a. meadow, 4a. wood, and 30a. gorse and heather in Kyllerton, worth 7 marks, held of the heirs of Nicholas Fraunceys, as of the lordship of Fraunceys Court, by a rent of 6s. and 1 lb. wax only, in free socage. A burgage in Sylferton, worth 6s., held of the said John Wadham, knt., in free burgage. Six burgages in Bradenynche, worth 16s., held of the said Prince, as of the said honor, in free burgage. Twenty acres of arable, 10a. pasture, 3a. meadow, and 30a. gorse and heather in Monculme and Beare in the parish of Sylferton, worth 20s., held of the said John Wadham, as of the said manor, by fealty only.

	He the said John Tymperley, esq., one Richard Suthwell, William Holond, and Robert Tymperley, were seised of the under-mentioned manor and advowson of Hyntlesham in fee, which they demised, having obtained the King’s licence for the purpose, to John Morton, Archbishop of Canterbury, John Alcok, Bishop of Ely, William son of the said John Tymperley, John Sulyard, knt., Christopher Willoughby, John Wymongham, knt., Henry Heydon, knt., Richard Skipton and Henry Edyall, clks., James Hobert, William Pyrton, esq., Thomas Fastolf and Philip Bothe, esqs., Edmund Jenney, John Cheke, Clement Clerk, Robert Suthwell, Thomas Banyard, John Walworth the elder, ‘gentilman,’ Thomas Draill, ‘merchaunt,’ and Robert Hatfeld, to the use of the said John Tymperley the father and his last will. He demised the other under-mentioned manor and lands, whereof he was seised in fee, to the said Archbishop, Edmund, Bishop of Rochester, William Tymperley his son, Henry Wentworth and John Paston, knts., Thomas Fastolf and William Pyrton, esqs., Richard Skipton and Henry Ediall, clks., Clement Clerk, ‘gentilman,’ Roger Wentworth, ‘gentilman,’ Thomas Drayll, and Thomas Baldry, to the like use. He died 18 Dec. last, John Tymperley, aged 40 and more, is his son and heir.
SUFF.	Manor and advowson of Hyntlesham, worth 20l., whereof one moiety is held of the King in chief, by service of a fish-hawk, or 2s., yearly, for all service, and the other moiety is held of the King in chief, by service of one knight’s fee. A place called ‘Makell,’ 2 messuages, and other lands and tenements called ‘Hyllys,’ ‘Copdok,’ and ‘Brodok’ in Hyntlesham, worth 100s., held of William Morton, service unknown. Manor called ‘Mansers,’ with a water mill, worth 100s., and other lands and tenements in Hadlegh and Aldeham, and another tenement called ‘Hadleys’ in Hadley, held of the Prior of Christ Church, Canterbury, service unknown.

	Writ 9 Oct., inq. Saturday the eve of St. Simon and St. Jude the Apostles, 8 Hen. VII.
	John Hevenyngham, knt., John Hopton, Thomas Brews, and John Hevenyngham, esqs., George Lampet, Robert Banyard, and Thomas Croftes, being seised of the under-mentioned manor of Kenton in fee, enfeoffed Thomas Garneys, esq., and the said Margaret, and the heirs of the body of the said Thomas, thereof, with remainder to Edmund Garneys in tail. She survived the said Thomas, and died seised of the said manor in her demesne as of frank tenement. She died the Sunday before Pentecost last, seised of the under-mentioned manor of Reedhalle in fee. John Garneys, aged 38 and more, is son and heir of the said Margaret, and of the said Thomas.
SUFF.	Manor of Kenton, worth 20l., held of the heirs of the Duke of Suffolk, as of the honor of Eye, by 1/20 of a knight’s fee. Manor of Reedhalle, worth 10 marks, held of Thomas, Abbot of Bury St. Edmunds, by 1/20 of a knight’s fee, for all service.

811	RALPH BANASTER.
	Writ 24 Oct., inq. 10 Nov., 8 Hen. VII.
	He and Joan his wife, daughter and heir of John Coumbe, were seised of the under-mentioned manors and lands in fee, in her right. They had issue Joan, now wife of Thomas Dawntesey. He survived his said wife, and was seised of the premises in his demesne as of frank tenement, as tenant by the curtesy. He died 15 Aug. last. The said Joan Dawntesey, aged 19 and more, is his daughter and heir.
WILTS.	Manor of North Tudworth, worth 12 marks, held of the Prior of Mayden Bradeley, by fealty and the rent of 1 lb. of cummin at Martlemas yearly. A capital messuage, 2 carucates of land, 12a. meadow, 200a. pasture, 40s. rent, and the office of the bailiwick, or bedelry, of the hundred of Ambresbury, in Great Ambresbury, worth 10 marks, held of the Lady Margaret, Countess of Richmond and Derby, as of the manor of Ambresbury, by fealty and 13d. rent at Michaelmas yearly. Manor of Compton Coumbes, worth 6 marks, with the advowson of the chapel there, held of the said Countess, as of the said manor, by fealty only, for all service.

812	WILLIAM LANCASTRE, esq.
	Writ 9 July, 7 Hen. VII; inq. Friday after St. Simon and St. Jude the Apostles, 8 Hen. VII.
	He enfeoffed William Aleyn and Robert Molton of the under-mentioned manors, who in Easter Term, 6 Hen. VII, suffered a recovery thereof to Richard and John Yaxlee, to the use of Eleanor, sometime wife of the said William Lancastre, for the term of her life; and the said Richard Yaxlee accordingly demised the premises to her for life, with remainder to the said William, John Cornwaleys, esq., William Rammesby, esq., and Richard Bole, clk., to the use of the said William and his heirs. He died on the feast of St. Philip and St. James the Apostles last.
NORF.	Manor of Boylondys, worth 10l., held of Henry None, esq., as of the manor of Multon, by 1/3 of a knight’s fee. Manor of Haywodes, worth 20l., held of Lord John Fitz Walter, knt., service unknown.

	Writ 26 Oct., inq. Saturday after All Hallows, 8 Hen. VII.
	John Legat and Robert Crascke being seised of the under-mentioned manors and advowson in fee, gave them to the said Roger (sic) Jerveys, named in the writ, in tail, with remainder to Katharine and Anne his sisters in tail, with remainder to Thomas and John Jerveys his brothers successively in tail, with remainder to Agnes Braybroke in tail, with remainder to Stephen Fabyan and John Resshbroke, their heirs and assigns, to the use of the will of John Jerveys his father. The said Roger Jerveys died the last day of September last. John Jerveys, aged 21 and more, is his son and heir.
SUFF.	Manor and advowson of Bradfeld Sencler, worth 10l., and the manor of Capellys, otherwise called ‘Felsham Hall,’ worth 40s., held of Thomas, Abbot of Bury St. Edmunds, by knight-service.

	He gave the under-mentioned manor and lands to Bartholomew Seyntlegyer, Michael Syllyng, and Cicely Mylborn, his daughter, for the term of her life, with remainder to himself and his heirs. He died 8 Oct., 8 Hen. VII. Henry Mylbourne, aged 11, is his son and heir.
SURREY.	Manor of Escher Watervyle, worth 3l., held of the Bishop of Winchester, by fealty and 6s. rent yearly, for all service. A toft, 100a. land, 20a. meadow, ‘a were’ in ‘le Thamyse,’ a water mill, 10s. rent, and 5 gardens in Kyngeston on Thamis, worth 5l., held of the King, as of the borough of Kyngeston, by fealty and 12s. 4d. rent, for all service.

815	ALICE DODYNSELLES, widow.
	Writ 22 May, 7 Hen. VII; inq. 20 Nov., 8 Hen. VII.
	Richard Sharpe, Edmund Dyve, and John Dyve, being seised of the under-mentioned lands in fee, gave them by virtue of the King’s letters patent of licence dated 16 Feb., 24 Hen. VI, to Edward Dodyngsels, knt., and the said Alice then his wife, with remainder to the heirs of the body of the said Edward, with remainder to his right heirs. He died 4 March, 6 Edw. IV. She survived him and died 27 March, 7 Hen. VII, seised of the premises in her demesne as of frank tenement. Gerard Dodyngsels, esq., aged 50 and more, is son and heir of the said Edward; and Henry Dodyngsels, aged 30 and more, is her son and heir.
HERTS.	Three messuages, 8 tofts, and 6 virgates of land in Pirton, parcels of the manor of Pirton, worth 100s., held of the King in chief, by 1/20 of a knight’s fee.

816	RICHARD BOURTON.
	Com. 9 July, 7 Hen. VII; inq. the last day but one of October, 8 Hen. VII.
	One John Blower, being seised of the under-mentioned lands in fee, enfeoffed John Wodelond, clk., and John Bisshop thereof, to the use of himself and his heirs. He died leaving issue a son Thomas Blower, who, in consideration of 200l. paid him by the said Richard Burton, released his right in the premises to the said John Bisshop, the surviving feoffee, to the use of the said Richard and his heirs. John Bisshop being seised thereof accordingly, at the request of the said Richard enfeoffed Thomas Overey, clk., and Ralph Lathum, clk., of the said lands to the like use. By his will the said Richard directed his said feoffees to make an estate of the premises to Agnes his wife for the term of her life, with remainder to his own right heirs. He died 17 May last. Elizabeth wife of George Bolton, aged 24 and more, and Joan wife of Richard Philip, aged 28 and more, are his cousins and heirs, viz. daughters of Joan, daughter of Margery his sister.
SOMERS.	Fourteen messuages and two closes of pasture in Taunton, worth 10 marks, held of the Bishop of Winchester, service unknown.

	His father, Richard Culpepir, esq., enfeoffed William Worsley, Dean of St. Paul’s, London, Richard Lee, Richard Tuttesham, John Twayttes, and Bartholomew Madok, of the under-mentioned manors, to the use of himself and his heirs. He died 7 Oct. last. He survived the said Grace his wife, and died seised of the premises in fee tail, which thereupon descended to Thomas Peyton of Iselham, his son and heir, the reversion thereof belonging to the said John Burgoyn as the survivor of the said feoffors. 	He was son and heir of one Richard Isham, who died 9 May, 6 Hen. VII, seised jointly William Aleyn, John Bryggeman, Henry Wade, John Tyson, and John Aspland, who survive, of the under-mentioned messuages and land (a messuage and eight score acres of land in Little Bowdon and eight acres of land there excepted) to the uses of the last will of the said Richard the father. He died 24 Nov. last, seised of the above excepted messuage and lands in fee. Robert Isham, aged 12 and more, is his brother and heir.

	John Martyn, Roger Heyron, John Gaynesford, John Corffe, William Selman, William Bradford, Richard FitzRobert, and John Hall, were seised of the under-mentioned manors in fee to the use of Nicholas Carue, of Bedyngton co. Surrey, esq., deceased, and his heirs, and to the use of his last will, and being so seised they gave them in accordance with the said will (having obtained licence for the purpose from King Henry VI in respect of the manor of Bedyngton), to one Nicholas Carue his son and heir in tail male. The said Nicholas the son had issue Nicholas and James, and died, when the premises descended to the said Nicholas as his son and heir. On the death of the said Nicholas, brother of James, the premises descended to Nicholas his son heir, who died without male issue, whereupon the premises descended to the said James Carue named in the writ, as his uncle and heir male. The said James Carue died 22 Dec. last. Richard Carue, aged 23 and more, is his son and heir.
