Edward, prince of Wales, duke of Cornwall, earl of Chester. Signification that Clement VI. at his instance gave to his councillor and governor of his lands, Peter de Gildesburgh, a canonry and prebend of Lichfield, notwithstanding that he had other benefices; but as it is asserted that only two were included, and as Peter had a canonry and prebend of Exeter, about which he is litigating, and the archdeaconry of Totnes, canonries and prebends of Lincoln, Bangor, and Penryn, and the church of Wassinburgh, the prince prays that the provision of the canonry and prebend of Lichfield and consequent acts may hold good. He has resigned the canonry and prebend of Bangor.
