Entry 'Dr. Spicer complayneth that one Beuens Mr. Hills man that was, gave a vomitt to Mr. Roystons daughter of Hacknye; in the tyme of her vomiting she fell into Convulsions and died. Mr. Royston her father will be his accuser.'

Entry B of Moore Lane, a Chymist, was accused of killing Mrs Lane by bad practice. Denied he had given her physic, or had any medicine from Mr Hill. Then said he'd given Mrs Lane snacke weed & mithridate. Mr Hill said B had fetched a medicine (*) from him and had given it to Mrs Lane on a knife's point, whereupon she voided bloodclots upward. Next day her gums were black; she died 'spitting and spawling'.
