	Mydthingby. 10s. rent from Thomas de Francton. Sutton. A rent of a pair of gilt spurs from 200a. land which Robert de Hoylond holds, held of Robert de Huntingfeld by service of a clove gillyflower. Multon. The manor and a third part of the manor of Flete, held jointly by the said Thomas and Eleanor his wife, as of their purchase from Everard de Flete, to hold to them and the heirs of the said Thomas, by fine levied in the king’s court at Westminster on the octave of St. Martin, 4 Edward II.; the said manor of Multon, with the rent in Midthingesby, is held of the prior of Spalding by service of 7l. 6s. yearly; and the third part of the manor of Flete, together with two parts thereof, is held of John son and heir of Robert de Wylughby, a minor and in the king’s wardship, by service of a pair of white gloves, price 1d. Heir as above, aged 14 on the feast of St. Luke last.
CUMBERLAND.	Indenture of assignment of dower [to Eleanor] late the wife of the said Thomas, 4 April [15 Edward II.] (fragment.) [ (fn. 2) A third part of the capital messuage] of the manor of Egremound, which is a castle, a messuage in Culderton &c.

The manor held by Gilbert de Culwenn by homage and fealty, and suit of court as above, and by service of 45s. 3d. yearly for cornage, and 4s. for sea wake (vigilia maris), and for food for two servants as above. LINCOLN.	Inq. concerning knights’ fees and advowsons, Monday the morrow of the Close of Easter, 15 Edward II.
	Frankton. 1/3 knight’s fee held by Thomas son of Thomas de Frankton. Hemmyngby. 1/3 knight’s fee held by the same Thomas. Holbeche. A knight’s fee held by Ranulph de Dakre and Margaret his wife. Algerkirke. The advowson of the church with the chapel of Fossedic. Hemmyngby. The advowson of the church. Wadingham. The advowson of the church with the chapel. Boston. The advowson of the hospital of St. John without Boston, whose master holds the said hospital with certain lands &c. in Skirbek and Flete by the grant of the said Thomas’s ancestors, for finding and maintaining three chaplains in the hospital and a chaplain at Flete, celebrating for their souls and those of all the faithful dead, and twenty poor persons residing in the infirmary founded by them, by letters patent of the lords of Multon; and the said master ought to receive daily at the door of the hospital forty other poor persons and feed them with the same food as the other twenty ought to be fed with.

	Portbury. The manor with the hundred of Bedminster (extent given), held, together with the castle of Berkelee and other lands in co. Gloucester, of the king in chief by barony and service of 3 knight’s fees. Maurice his son, aged 40 and more, is his next heir.
GLOUCESTER.	Inq. Saturday before St. Lawrence, 15 Edward II.
	Berkelee. The castle and hundred, and the manors of Hamme, Camme and Wotton, with their hamlets (extents given), held, together with other lands in Somerset, of the king in chief by barony and service of 3 knight’s fees. Heir as above.

NOTTINGHAM.	Inq. taken at Tuxford, on Monday after the Annunciation, 15 Edward II.
	Hoghton. The manor and two parts of the manor of Gameleston (extents given), held of the earl of Lancaster by service of 3 knight’s fees; which he held because he survived Isabel de Chauncy his mother, whose heir he was. Isabel his daughter, aged 1 year on Friday after the Annunciation last, is his next heir.

Swynhop. The manor (extent given), including a plot called Milnecroft and a pasture called Pidmancroft, held of the king in chief as of the crown by service of 1/3 knight’s fee. Skreithesfeld alias Skraythfeld [Scrayfeld]. 52s. rent held of the earl of Lincoln by knight’s service. LANCASTER.	Inq. Friday before Whitsunday, 15 Edward II.
	Folrigg. A capital messuage and 8a. meadow in demesne, and 8 messuages, 8 bovates of land, 50a. of ‘rodeland’ and 4 cottages demised to tenants, a water-mill and 20s. rent, held of the king in chief, as of the lordship of Clyderhou, by homage and fealty and by service of 1/8 knight’s fee. He held no other lands, &c., in the county. Brian his firstborn son, aged 23, is his next heir.
YORK.	Inq. Saturday the eve of Whitsunday, 15 Edward II. (defaced.)
	Thornhill. The manor (extent given), with the advowson of the church, held of the king, by reason of the minority of the heir of Richard de Tonge, who is in the king’s wardship through the forfeiture of Thomas late earl of Lancaster, by service of 1/8 knight’s fee; and a messuage and 20a. land, 8a. meadow, rents &c. held of the king through the said forfeiture, as of the honour of the castle of Pontefract, in fee tail to the said John, Brian his brother, and the heirs of the said John, by service of 1/8 knight’s fee, where 8 carucates make a fee, and by service of 4s. yearly rent, and suit at the court of Pontefract. Whittelye. A bovate of land held as above of the honour of the castle of Pontefract by service of 10d. yearly. Brecetwesel. A bovate and a half of land held of Robert de Whitteley (?) by service of 3s. 1d. yearly rent. Farnley. 4s. yearly rent held of Richard (?) Tye by fealty only. Hundesworth. The manor (extent given) held of the king by reason of the minority of the abovesaid heir, &c., by service of 1/8 knight’s fee, and 10s. yearly. Suelleshill. A carucate of land held as of the manor of Farnley, which is in the king’s hand by reason of the minority of John de Nevill, by service of 1/8 knight’s fee, where 8 carucates make a fee, and by service of 2s. yearly. Ovenden, Waddesworth and Stansfeld. 20s. rent from 8 bovates of land, held of the king, as of Wakefeldthwayt now in the king’s hand by reason of the abovesaid forfeiture, by service of 6s. yearly rent.
