Kelleveden. The manor (extent given), held of the king in chief as of the honour of Haghenet by service of 3 knights’ fees, and paying 30s. yearly for the guard of the castle of Dover, and 3s. 4d. yearly at the hundred of Wyham for sheriff’s aid; 9a. arable, held of the abbot of Westminster by service of 3s. 2d. yearly, and doing suit at the abbot’s court of Feringg; 1a. meadow held of the abbess of Elnestowe by service of 18d. yearly; and 20a. arable held of Isabel Caperoun by service of 12d. yearly.
Little Badewe. The manor (extent given), held of Sir Robert son of Walter by service of a knight’s fee, and paying 18s. 4d. every twenty-four weeks for the guard of Baynard’s castle.

(extent given), including parts of courts, views, and of a court called ‘Knyhttecurt,’ and lands &c. in Old Bukenham, Swanegeye and Attelburgh, and rents called ‘lond[gave]l’(?) ‘mareyesilver’ (?), ‘huntepeny’ and ‘fishpeny,’held of the king in chief as parcel of the manor of Bukenham, which manor is held of the king by service of being the king’s butler, and the said castle and lands descended to the said Thomas as kinsman and third heir of Robert de Thatisshal; of which manor Joan late the wife of the said Robert holds a moiety in dower, and John de Orreby and Joan de Dryby parceners of the said Thomas hold the residue.
Tibenham and Denton. Certain lands and tenements (extent given), held of the king in chief as parcel of the barony of Thatisshale, being his pourparty of the inheritance of the said Robert de Thatisshal.
Topecroft manor. A certain rent receivable by the hands of John de Cove and Eva his wife ……… . . of the said Eva 13s. 4d., which rent pertained to the said Thomas’s pourparty.
Bishop’s Lenn. A sixth part of a fourth part of the Tolbooth, held of the inheritance of Thatisshal.

Babbyngle. The manor with two parts of the manor of Wymondham were held jointly by the said Thomas and Margaret his wife, by the enfeoffment of Michael de Caly, parson of Hyldeburghworth, and Walter Kyng, chaplain, by fine levied in the king’s court, of the king in chief as parcel of the barony of Thatisshal.
Wymondham. A capital messuage in a wood called Grisehagh, lands, &c. (extent given), including two parts of a park called Oxenhagh
Babbyngle. A capital messuage, lands, rents, &c. (extent given), a rent called ‘Shyphyre,’ and amercements, &c., in the leets held at Wolfreton.
The reversion of the said two parts of the manor of Wymondham, and of the manor of Babbingle, after the death of the said Margaret, pertains to Adam son of Roger de Cliston, as nephew and next heir of the said Thomas.

Hilderskelf. The said Ralph granted to Thomas de Boulton, knight, for life, two fitting robes and a saddle for the state of a knight yearly, with honourable maintenance for himself and a yeoman, and shoes and nails for four horses and wages for four grooms, out of the said manor, into whosesoever hands it should come; and the said Thomas was seised thereof until the death of the said Ralph. The manor is held of John Bygot in chief by service of 1/3 knight’s fee.
Writ of certiorari on the complaint of William de Kelk, clerk, that the escheator had hindered him from receiving 100s. yearly which the said Ralph had granted him out of the manor of Thorp Basset, 22 April, 10 Edward II.

Writ (of certiorari) on the complaint of Eleanor, late the wife of Henry de Percy, to whom the king committed the wardship of two parts of the lands, &c. of the said Henry in co. York until the lawful age of the heir, amongst which were 4l. 16s. 7 1/2d. rent from the manors and towns of Beleby, Grymthorp, Fangefosse, and Meltenby, which were of Ralph son of William, deceased, that the escheator from the death of the said Ralph had hindered her from receiving the same, 8 June, 10 Edward II.

Letter from William Ayremynn, clerk, to Sir Hugh Daudele, the son. The treasurer the day of his departure from Nottingham, delivered to the writer a petition, of which he sends the transcript, concerning the manors of Grymthorp, Thorpbasset and Crosthwayt, co. York, and Neesham and 50l. dry rent in Brereton in the bishopric of Durham, commanding him to advise the king if they were held in socage or otherwise, and now this Friday came to him Raulyn de Creystok and Robert de Seint Poul his master, saying from Sir Hugh that the king would be advised of these things, and that he should come, or, if he would be disturbed from the king’s business, that he should advise by letter. As he is hastening the writs for the ships for Ireland, he cannot come without the king’s business being delayed, and so informs him that the manor of Grymthorp is held in socage by service of rendering 4l. 8s. 7 1/2d. to the heir of Henry de Percy, Crosthwayt is held of Sir Henry le Fuiz Hughe by service of 2s. yearly, the manor of Thorpbasset is held of the abbot of Seint Auban by service of 1d. yearly, the manor of Neesham is held of William Taillebois by service of 16s. yearly, and the 50l. dry rent are issuing from the manor of Brereton, as found by inquisitions returned into the chancery, which he prays him to show to the king. Ralph son of William was enfeoffed by Marjory Corbet his wife, one of the coheirs of the barony of Bolbek, of a fourth part of the manors of Stiford, Hedoun on the Wall, Angyrtoune and Dodynton with their hamlets, as of the barony of Bolbek; and the said Ralph in 1301 enfeoffed Robert his son and Elizabeth his wife jointly thereof, excepting 100a. of demesnes at Dodyngton, to hold to them and the heirs of their bodies, and they continued their seisin until the death of the said Robert.
Writ of certiorari on the complaint of the abovesaid Elizabeth that the escheator had taken into the king’s hand certain lands, &c. in Thingdon, co. Northampton, of which she and the said Robert were jointly enfeoffed by the abovesaid Ralph, who had them of the grant of Thomas Burnel, sometime bishop of Bath and Wells, 13 September, 11 Edward II.
