The extent includes 2 water-mills, a windmill, pleas and perquisites of courts, a leet held about the feast of St Gregory and part of a leet held about Michaelmas, a fair on the feast of the Nativity of St Mary, an oven and a pasture with a way called Thirsfordmere. Bricham. The manor (extent given), held of the king in chief as parcel of the barony of Clare, services unknown. Stokesby, Owelton and other towns. Foreign rents from divers tenements, 6l. 6s. 8d. 	He was seised in his demesne as of fee of the under-mentioned inn, shops etc. St Katharine Colman. An inn with 5 shops and solars above and gardens, held of the king in fee burgage, as is the whole city. He died on 20 July last. Heir as above, aged 5 years and more. The premises were delivered to Edward duke of Aumale by virtue of the king’s writ.

	He was seised in his demesne as of fee of the under-mentioned manor and meadows. Worthy Mortymere. The manor, with a certain rent of assize in Hamele in the Hoke, parcel of the said manor. The said earl by his letter patent granted to Thomas Scot a yearly rent of 100s. for life out of the manor. Oterbourne. 20a. meadow. The above are held of the king in chief by knight’s service, quantity unknown. He died on Saturday the feast of St Margaret last. Heir as above, aged 6 years and more.

	He died seised in his demesne as of fee of the under-mentioned manors. Tonge. The manor (extent given), held of the king in chief by homage and fealty and 20s. every 24 weeks to the castle of Dovorr for ward. Parcels of lands of the manor are held of the queen as of the manor of Mylton by a rent of 17s. 1d. and other parcels called Monketon are held of the abbot of Feversam by a rent of 13s. 4d. Thomas de Overton, clerk, has a yearly rent of 20l. for life out of the manor by the earl’s letters patent, confirmed by the king’s letters dated 14 August, 21 Richard II. Shillynghelde. The manor (extent given) held of the king in chief by homage and fealty and 26s. yearly for ward of the castle of Dovorr. Kyngysdowne. A moiety of the manor, held of the king in chief by knight’s service. Walter Roo, esquire, has a yearly rent of 10l. for life out of the manor of Shillynghelde and the moeity of the manor of Kyngysdowne by the earl’s letters patent. He died on the feast of St Margaret last. Heir as above, aged 6 years on 4 November last.

The manor, held of the king in chief by homage and fealty and service of 4l. 4s. yearly for ward of the castle of Rochester and 8s. 3 1/2d. blanch rent payable yearly at the Exchequer. Leonard Hakeluyt has a yearly rent of 10l. for life out of the aforesaid manors by the earl’s letters patent dated 1 September, 5 Richard II, confirmed by the king’s letters patent dated 19 May, 5 Richard II. Grenwych and Deppefordysstronde.
