HUNTINGDON. Inq. taken at Kynebauton, Thursday after the Conversion of St. Paul, 27 Edward I. (Part torn away.)
Kynebauton. The manor (full extent given), held of the king in chief by service of two knights’ fees and scutage when scutage runs. The extent includes a fortress (fortalicium) with houses inside and outside the enclosure, a park called ‘Britholmwyk,’ 300a. foreign wood called ‘le Haywode,’ and a full account of the services of villeins.
